Our 1.8 m high sculpture marries scale, artistry, and sustainability. Crafted from 97 % recycled filament sourced from discarded appliances, this piece redefines material use at monumental proportions. Printed it in multiple segments before assembling into a seamless whole—an engineering feat that brings modern fabrication to life.

This sculpture forms part of a wider series of brand-defining artworks for Virgin Voyages. While each iteration is unique in finish—from glittering surfaces to graffiti—they all stem from a creative strategy developed by our sister studio, Volume, whose art direction has earned accolades including Cruise Ship Interiors’ Best Art award.

The sculpture’s subtle fold and fluid movement hint at a modern abstraction of a mermaid’s tail, gracefully evoking the motion of water and reimagining waste into art.
