Oysters Reimagined

Following the success of our larger commission for Fortnum & Mason’s third-floor ‘Create Your Own Hamper’ space — where we crafted bespoke display units and till points using oyster shell waste — we were invited back to create a set of coasters for their in-store bar.

Made using the same shell-based composite as the fixture design, the coasters were conceived as a quiet extension of the material story. Delicate, refined, and carefully styled, they offered a tactile detail that subtly echoed the textures and tones of the larger retail environment.

Though small in scale, these pieces speak to something more enduring: an ongoing relationship with a brand that values thoughtful design, storytelling, and continuity. It’s a reminder that our work exists not just in single commissions, but in trust built over time.
