Way of Life – The Sessile, London

Sustainable Furniture Design

For The Sessile, Way of Life’s wellness-focused property in Tottenham Hale, we were commissioned to create a sculptural centrepiece table for the studio’s yoga space. Designed in collaboration with The Furniture Practice and Linda Boronkay, the piece embodies sustainable furniture design through a calm, refined material narrative.

Created from reclaimed materials including bottle tops and household waste, the table is an example of reimagining waste into something tactile, grounded, and visually engaging. Its soft palette of pale yellows, aubergine, and lavender was developed in harmony with Linda’s warm and layered interior scheme, designed to bring calm and continuity to the space.

We don’t just recycle — we reframe. We turn client waste into one-of-a-kind furniture and surfaces that carry a quiet sense of history and intention. In this project, the table reflects permanence and presence, designed to sit naturally within a wellness setting while subtly telling a story about transformation and material possibility.

As featured in publications including Design Anthology and The Standard, this project is a standout example of how thoughtful collaboration and material innovation can shape the future of responsible, ethical interiors.
