Travel + Transport

Designing for Dynamic Environments

VolumeCreative_Virginvoyages-ship-01

Transport environments demand a different kind of design thinking. Materials must integrate with engineering systems, respond to movement, and work within tightly defined technical parameters.

We collaborate closely with designers, engineers and manufacturers to ensure ideas translate into buildable solutions within these specialised settings.

Our work often involves:

  • Integrating bespoke elements into technically complex environments
  • Designing with fixing points, structural systems and installation requirements in mind
  • Collaborating closely with technical teams from early design stages
  • Developing materials that balance durability with visual impact

Research & Development for Future Mobility

Kia Concept Car - dashboard made from leather waste

Much of our work in this sector begins with research.

We collaborate with manufacturers and design teams to explore how waste materials can inform the next generation of transport interiors and concept vehicles.

This work focuses on experimentation and material development, including:

  • Developing new composite materials from waste streams
  • Prototyping surfaces and components for concept applications
  • Testing how materials behave within mobility environments
  • Supporting design teams exploring future transport narratives

Projects such as our collaboration with Kia explore how circular materials might become part of the future language of mobility.

The future of transport will be shaped by new materials.
We help develop them from waste.
