Our Sisterhood: Spared and Volume Collaboration

At the heart of Spared is a powerful creative alliance: our sister company, Volume Creative. While Spared gives form to materials, Volume shapes entire experiences—from interior environments and brand strategy to art direction and storytelling.

Together, we offer something rare: the ability to not just imagine a space, but to design, detail, make and deliver it—often using waste as the starting point.

Take our work for Preventicum, a private medical clinic in London. Volume designed the interiors, while Spared created all of the tables, reception desk, and joinery. Every detail was made with circularity in mind—from concept through to final install. The result is a complete experience, rooted in wellbeing and quiet innovation.

For Virgin Voyages, our work has spanned over a decade—crafting not just art, but indentity. Volume curated the entire onboard art collection for the Resilient Lady, while Spared made bespoke sculptures and awards using everything from CDs to shells. Between us, we delivered more than 600 pieces across the fleet, managing the full art package from concept to curation, creation, logistics and install.
