Virgin Voyages – Resilient Lady

Sculpting Motion from Waste: Sustainable Art for Cruise Ships

Installed in The Wake restaurant aboard Virgin Voyages’ Resilient Lady, these flowing wave sculptures bring a sense of movement and energy to the dining experience. Designed in collaboration with our sister studio, Volume, each sculpture offers more than visual impact—it tells a deeper material story.

Crafted from fibreglass and layered with repurposed waste from our workshop, the red and blue forms ripple across the space in a striking ombré gradient. While not made entirely from waste, the project reflects our ongoing commitment to pushing the boundaries of reuse at scale—especially within high-end hospitality environments.

Learn more about our approach to sustainable art for hospitality and how we collaborate with hotels, cruise lines and curators to create artwork that holds meaning—materially and emotionally.
