Virgin Red Room Design, The O2 – Recycled Shell-Waste Tabletops

For Virgin Red’s exclusive Red Suite at The O2, our sister studio, Volume Creative, led the interior design and spatial concept, while Spared supplied bespoke tabletop features crafted from recycled whelk and shell waste. Located within the rebranded Virgin Red Room, the suite offers members a luxurious hospitality experience—with welcoming lounge seating, bespoke red velvet banquettes, and Spared’s tabletops anchoring the space with a sustainable flourish.

Our tabletops use crushed shell composites to add subtle pearlescent texture and visual intrigue, harmonising with the room’s vibrant red palette. These pieces not only reinforce the suite’s premium aesthetic but also signal a commitment to eco-conscious design.
